To ascertain information from a Knowledge category a player must make a successful roll vs. Level + IQ. An "expert" gains an additional +15 bonus to the roll. This rule is based on epistemology, which claims that it is not possible to have an exhaustive understanding of an information domain, but that we have to live with the fact that our knowledge is always not complete, that is, partial. The breath of a character's knowledge category is based on his level of intelligence (IQ) and worldly experience (Level). A failed roll means no information about the subject is known.
