Yolai was the High Paladin of Luorre at the Waiting Hall in Pelos. Unlike most zephyrs, she is rarely flighty, and once she is set on a task, little can distract her from it.
Yolai had been the highest ranking paladin of Luorre in Pelos for close to five years. She is an expert swordswoman; she can use her dual short swords both offensively and defensively with the skill of a master. She had a celestial companion in the form of Charlein - an Aurene Angel. Recently, Charlein has been killed and sent back to the lower planes.
Yolai has recently spent a lot of time in the Couer d'Ennui, due to the prophetic dreams of Arthor, the caretaker of the Shrine of Luorre in the Couer. She was previously seen by adventurers from the Partheneon when they went to kill the brothers Elowi and Erowa Trulla. At the time, her purpose there was unknown, though recently more has been revealed.
Yolai was recently seen in the company of Erowa Trulla and several demons. During a battle with the patrons of the Parthenon, led by Hess, Nhrin, and Rolo, Erowa was (re-)killed and Yolai was captured and turned over to the Luorrites. The extent of her apostasy is still unknown, though she continually refers to herself as a Disciple of a being known as Kriallas; who or what this Kriallas is is unknown, and even a Confession cannot tear the answer out of her.
Word is that Yolai has recently been sprung from her prison, shortly before she was to be executed. Krowicious, Rongo, Elowi, and an unknown dwarf and elf were involved in the rescue, and Troila, the high priest of Luorre was mortally wounded in the process.
