//Crafty Lord of Chance and Gambling, Master of Madness and Lunacy, Roller of Dice, Holder of Bets, Painter of Shifting Colors, Drinker of Potions, Gambler//
People who call Ygorl the God of Chaos probably aren't too far off. His temples usually double as gambling halls. Priests of Ygorl are known to take bets or make odds on just about anything. Their abilities can tend to even the odds in some situations. Ygorl is a favorite of rogues and other scamps.
Ygorl is most famous as the Gambling God, but his influences extend beyond the realm of luck. Less well-known to the public, he is also the god of entropy and madness (indeed, lunatics are often said to be "touched by Ygorl"). All that is built will crumble, anything structured can become unstructured. Without the forces of entropy, everything would grind to a halt in crystallized stagnation. Such are the tenets of Ygorl.
This being the case, priests of Ygorl are known to be just a tad unstable at times, prone to rash bouts of whimsy, and their presence can sometimes be as detrimental as it is beneficial. Naturally, this varies on a case-by-case basis; there is an astonishing amount of diversity amongst the priests of this god, especially amongst his itinerant priests.
**Alignment:** Chaotic Neutral
**Colors:** All/None (swirls of chaotic color).
**Spheres:** [[DeceptionSphere Deception]], [[RaptureSphere Rapture]]
**Symbols:** Actual holy symbols borne by his priests are flat metal disks (usually iron or silver), covered by a design of swirling, garish colors that is somewhat disconcerting to stare at. The actual design of swirls and colors varies from priest to priest; it is said that no two are alike. These disks are generally worn as amulets.
