Wight

Appearance: Wights are human-sized but slightly lighter than living people due to the dryness of their dead flesh. Their features are drawn tight and twisted with feral hatred. Their eyes are a bloodshot, eerily luminescent green or yellow; their teeth are sharpened to needle-like points. Though their nails harden into blackened claws as part of their transformation into undead, wights typically attack by punching at their victims rather than trying to rake at them. They wear the tattered rags of whatever clothes they died or were buried in.
Known Behaviors: Wights are driven by their hatred of all that is living. They are said to hide the bodies of their kills, though the reasons for this behavior are not widely understood. Those who have fought them say that their touch chills the soul and can cripple the resolve of the stoutest warrior.
Known Range: Wights are drawn to places of great suffering and carnage, particularly those that offer some shelter from the light of day. They lurk among the dead on ancient battlefields, haunt barrow-mounds, and inhabit ruins and forgotten catacombs.
