The warrior is the premier combat specialist in Parthos. Warriors come from all walks of life and all parts of the world. They span the moral spectrum from high-minded holy knights to back-stabbing gutter scum. But regardless of their backgrounds, they share a formidable expertise in their chosen fighting styles. From the berserking AEsir ragers of the snowy northlands to lightning-quick zephyr duelists, from armored dwarven defenders to shapeshifting Andamen that fight with tooth and claw, every race and culture has its archetype. And every one has fighters who break that standard mold.
For many warriors, the adventurer's life is a natural choice. Some take to the road to fight for their ideals and protect those weaker than themselves, while others are drawn by the promise of easy plunder or the desire to prove their strength against epic foes. Whatever his motives, a skilled warrior will find his services constantly in demand, as adventuring groups are perennially in need of solid frontliners to handle the brunt of their fighting. Few can prevail against a trained warrior in single combat, and fewer still are eager to try.
