PGM Vivonus' House Rules


I view one week as an acceptable amount of time to get a report in (and loot out to the players.) Therefore, I will always try to get things out in this time frame. If it is not going to happen, I will let those involved know so they can expect it. I expect the same from other GMs. Any GM who owes a report or loot more than a week after the event is over will not be permitted on my events.

Bleeding and Death

Endurance saves versus death will be rolled at the end of the round. Any time someone is stabalized, it will reset the counter as for Endurance penalties.



Magic Traps

Magical Traps are disarmed on a roll of T&S/2 + RM/5. Bonuses generally apply to the T&S before being cut in half, unless specified in the spell or item.




Parrying
A character parrying may use their skill to protect one person at melee range with them. Protection must be mentioned in IMs, it will never be assumed. Full Parry level may be used to slow down an attacking figure's WS on both the character using Parry as well as the person they are protecting. If the character start to use Active Parry, the defense bonus may be used in either self-defense, or to protect their ward - not both. A person can only be guarded by one person with Parry at a time, and the guarded person may not be using a weapon (melee or missile) while being guarded, however they can cast spells or use items freely.



Proxied Rolls
Anytime something is going through me that requires rolls that is not during my shift when the log is opened, rolls will be done by me under proxy unless it is specifically requested in that instance not to. This includes SW Fencing, IDs (when appropriate), herbal, alchemy, and PL creations, and anything else that may come up. Complaints about the results if unfavorable will be laughed at, and further complaints will end in xp penalties.

During Shifts: If someone is not list listed as a proxy, they will not be allowed to proxy for a character in any form. This includes deciding actions, rolling, etc. This means if someone disappears during battle without leaving a proxy (or leaves a single proxy, who also disappears), the character will stand there drooling, and subject to being attacked. Similarly, if a player disappears while standing around in the Dungeon of Certain Doom, and no proxy is left, the character will remain standing there until the person comes back. This means that people may be left without a way back to the Couer (or without a long time OOP), if no proxies are left. For this reason, I recommend always leaving at least 3 different people who have proxy control. At no time will I offer any informtation from a sheet to the person proxying (I *will* offer current stamina/power totals. One freebie not counting to the once a shift request.)



Wilderness Lore
A bonus of Perc/5 will be added to all attempts at tracking with Wilderness Lore.
