Unicorn
Appearance: Graceful and noble beasts, unicorns most commonly appear as slender but powerful white horses with flowing manes and white, silver, or golden horns and hooves. Their horns are delicately spiraled. Their eyes are calm and wise, and are often blue, green, or black. Unicorns are found in deep forests and sylvan glades, where they act as protectors of the animals in their lands and guides to wayward travelers.
Known Behaviors: Unicorns are unfailing champions of good. Some are more sympathetic to the transient problems of mortals than others -- merely because a unicorn is good does not mean that it is always kind, or patient with fools -- but all will aid good-aligned creatures in dire need and oppose evil ones. They do not tolerate evil creatures in their forests. Occasionally a unicorn may leave its grove to accompany a worthy paladin on greater quests against evil, but this is never done lightly, for it requires the unicorn to abandon its duties as protector of the wood.
Known Range: Any deep forest, including Delverness and the Black Forest.
