Tetharel of the White Rose is the unofficial liaison between Athyria's Keep and the city underworld. On those occasions when the Maiden's servants need information about street goings-on, or when they wish to tap resources that temple doctrine precludes them from using directly, it is to Tetharel that they turn.
Though the half-elf strives to uphold his goddess' code in his personal affairs, he often deals with people of decidedly coarser moral fiber, and just as often purchases their knowledge or services with coin that he knows will go to no good end. Tetharel himself seems to have become reconciled to the contradictions in his life, but these compromises are not as readily accepted by his brethren in Athyria's Keep or the other goodly temples. As a result he stands in an ambiguous position: his activities are unofficially tolerated and his superiors in Athyria's Keep turn a blind eye when not surreptiously encouraging his work, but if he should ever make a serious misstep, it is not at all certain how much support his temple would offer him.
Tetharel is a half-elf whose world-weary gray eyes belie his youthful features. His sandy blonde hair is normally held back by a simple silver clasp. He dresses in drab shades of gray and off-white except on the rare occasions that he participates in formal ceremonies at Athyria's Keep, when he changes to temple garb in white, silver and gold. While he is rarely armed with any visible weapon when working on the street, he has been seen practicing with bow, crossbow, and sword on the Athyrian grounds, and is said to be a fair hand with each.
