**Whiskers:** Regal
**Tail:** Proud and handsome
**Familiar: Mr. Keyes**
Rwen's erstwhile and regrettable companion is the infamous Mr. Keyes. Perhaps no familiar is so lazy, so capricious, so wantonly apathetic to his master and his familiarly duties as this malevonant rat demon. He appears, for all intents and purposes as your typical black sewer rat, his color clearly not marking him as a Yrille (who are always in shades of brown). He is, upon obvious inspection, obese and overweight, although for a rat, this doesn't amount to much, except that when he walks his stomach often drags on the ground. Were he capable of speech, its likely much of it would center around the lack of fine foodstuffs and the horror that is his life, engaged so as he is in the service of the Yrilles.
Lock Picking - 25ss for an untrapped, normal lock. More, depending upon difficulty and danger.
Traps - 25ss for a normal, easily removed trap. More, depending upon difficulty and danger as well as compensation for supplies.

**Occupation:**
King of the Andarats, Purveyer of Fine Wines and Womens, Dragonslayer (Part-Time), Expert Trapspringer and Lock Picker, Fencer, Merchant and Match-Maker.
**Residence:**
Rwen lives in a small basement apartment in a slum in the south of town which is far enough away from the Docks to be relatively safe, so long as you're a local, anyway. Its cramped, smelly and not very well looked after although it does feature quite an expertly locked door, a trapdoor to the sewers and a number of alarms Rwen's rigged for when he's sleeping. Its easy enough to find if you ask about, although most generally tip Rwen off if people come inquiring.

In more recent years, Rwen has distinguished himself, a feat of real rarity among his brethren, and made a name for himself as an trapspringer and lock picker without peer. He's also groomed a very foppish image for himself, gained from his days of owning the Yrille House of Luckshurious Entertainmnet - a gentleman's brothel -, his swashbuckling appearance, and his often-repeated (by himself) slaying of a Dragon. He is, notably, still an independent within the Couer's underworld, carefully having cultivated a professional image of both being an expert burglar and thief, while also being detached from the day-to-day machinations of the Underworld. This grants him a very unique position, one which Rwen is very, very careful to maintain: a sort of Switzerland of Rogues.

**Background:**
Born and raised in the maze-like Sewers of the Couer d'Ennui, Rwen was one of a huge litter, although from which one of his aunts, he's not entirely certain. His exact age is difficult to pin down, doubly difficult due to the Andarat's poor mathematical skills and the fact that no one particularly cares. Like all young andarats, Rwen took to the streets and sewers at an early age, stealing and foraging the Couer for a meal and drink, pinching a few purses here and there when necessary. As would be expected of any troubled youth, Rwen spent a great deal of time in and out of various jails and prisons of the Couer, usually escaping easily enough by simply leaving whatever simple possessions he had and pretending to be a rat. Most of the Guards never considered the Andarat's as serious violent threats, and most took their simple petty thievery as simply a way of life. Now and again, however, when the Andarat stepped over the unspoken line or encountered a guardsman who didn't have such a liberal interpretation of the law, he was shackled more throughly and sent to work camps. Rwen has probably broken apart more stones than half the dwarves in the city.
