//Keeper of the Books, Candle of Enlightenment, the Wise//
Scholars and loremasters venerate Phet-S'nar above all other deities, for he is the god of knowledge and learning. His devotees range across the four corners of the world, digging through ancient ruins and hunting in the dim, moldering back rooms of long-neglected libraries for manuscripts which might add to the faith's store of collected information.
There are few actual priests or paladins of Phet-S'nar. His followers tend to be of more wizardly persuasion; sorcerers are especially common in the faith. Similarly, there are not many temples built to Phet-S'nar. For the most part, his people adopt large libraries as their sacred places (or their sacred places gradually evolve into libraries). The Great Library in V'tavia, for example, is kept largely by worshipers of Phet-S'nar, who act as its librarians.
If there is a single fault which can be attributed to the followers of Phet-S'nar, it is that they are sometimes overzealous in collecting and preserving rare manuscripts which, in the view of less scholarly faiths, might be better off destroyed. However, it is widely recognized that the loremasters of Phet-S'nar are unrivalled, and that their meticulously-kept libraries are an invaluable resource for researchers, regardless of religious convictions.
**Alignment:** Lawful Neutral

**Symbols:** A candleflame hovering over an open book
