Mountain Ogre

Appearance: Mountain ogres stand seven and a half to eight feet tall. They weigh over five hundred pounds, often nearing seven hundred. Their hairless white skin carries a glacial tint of blue or gray, and their deeply recessed eyes are an opaque, solid white. Two tiny vestigial horns jut out from the corners of their lower jaws, and their hands have only three fingers each. A mountain ogre's build is squatter and more heavily muscled than a human's, and its neck is hardly more than a stump.
Known Customs: Mountain ogres live in small tribes of six to twelve individuals housed in caves, heavy hide tents, or crude timber longhouses. At one time their tribes were larger, but long and mostly-lost battles over territory have led to the direct and indirect deaths of many mountain ogres, and has shattered the family structure of those remaining. The largest male in any group is called its "chieftain" and holds dominion over the others. Mountain ogres seldom follow any real religion and instead observe a collection of superstitions centered around crude animist beliefs.
Known Range: High mountains, including the Irontooths and Spinning Winds.
