Notes:
Leustroth is not a person but a shared tool. The Shadowmask is an effect used by members of the Shadow Network in their interactions with the Falcons, the Kliastans, and other denizens of the underworld when they need to identify themselves as Anvhadian but wish to keep their personal identities concealed. It is also employed when a single delegate needs to address many Shadow Network operatives at once. Whoever wears the Shadowmask uses the name "Leustroth" and takes the illusory appearance of a seven-foot-tall creature of shadow cloaked in elaborate, swirling robes that bear ever-shifting arcane patterns.
While so masked, Leustroth is impervious to effects which might discern the true wearer's alignment or thoughts, although it is rumored that some very powerful individuals can force their way past this protection. The Shadowmask also protects its wearer against attempts to persuade or charm him by magical means. If it has any other effects, these are not common knowledge.
Leustroth is typically treated as an official representative of Anvhad's designs in the Coeur and no more, but occasionally the wearer of the Shadowmask will drop personal clues to indicate who is behind the mask. This can affect how individuals regard Leustroth in a given encounter, but anyone who recognizes the Anvhadian persona for what it is will also be aware that such hints can be deceiving.
