Understanding traction
Stretching is the foundation
Learn How To Make Your Dick Bigger
Introduction:
The traction principal is nothing new. It's been practiced for over 2,000 years
by various cultures around the world. The neck lengthening exploits of the
Paduang tribe of Burma, for example, is a well-documented example of such
practices. Similarly, stretching is an advice we hear all the time. Stretch
before exercising; stretch to avoid injuries, stretch to stay limber, but how
easy it is to forget! Stretching keeps your body limber, flexible and elastic.
What is traction?
Today, traction is the medical term used for carefully calibrated, continuous pressure applied to help with healing after surgery, injury, trauma or burns. Simply put, it means stressing tissues by stretching, and then allowing the body to rebuild itself naturally.
The stretching opens up spaces between cells, and triggers a growth or healing response in the body, in which adjacent cells begin to divide and fill in the space. With continued use, the growth can number in the millions of new cells, significantly adding size and tissue to the area.
Medical studies and many medical applications of the traction device show that real, permanent growth can occur in various body tissues (including skin, muscles, bone, ligaments, tendons and even teeth). It has been scientifically proved that stretching causes a significant increase both length and girth of the body tissues, sometimes measurable in inches.
Everyday examples of how traction mechanism works
Tooth stretching and shaping: If a person has a tooth that is too short, out of proportion or it needs to be reshaped to follow the contour of the other teeth, then tooth stretching or contouring, also called tooth shaping is an ideal treatment. In this process, by using special elongation and lengthening devices, the tooth is contoured and sculpted into a desired shape. Hence, the application of traction force to the teeth results in greater length, better shape and more shine of the teeth. When teeth are slightly crowed or uneven, or when eyeteeth appear too long, enamel shaping can be used to correct the flaw.
Tooth braces are another common example that explains the principle of
stretching. In many people, the teeth are very crowded, and the jaw has to be
stretched, hence the need for braces is felt. These braces are designed to
straighten and align teeth. It should be noted that teeth need to be straight so
that you can clean them properly and so that your gums will remain healthy.
Skin stretching: With the growing age, getting rid of loose skin and wrinkling marks are even more difficult than losing the weight. Fortunately, there are methods that can add tone and elasticity to your skin without having to resort to surgery. For example, using the skin-firming cream often produces rapid results as it can bind with your skin cells. Over time, your skin will become softer, smoother and, most importantly, tighter.
Regular exercise such as stretching also has beneficial effects on human skin. The more you stretch and the more skin you shed, the more quickly your skin will regain its buoyancy. For the same reason, stretching workouts are considered a wonderful way to get your skin back to its normal elasticity.
Another common example of skin stretching is of burn patients, who can create
their own skin grafts by means of traction which "stretches" or enlarges an area
of tissue prior to transplant.
Bone lengthening by stretching: Our body bones are elastic and are constantly changing in length. If the bone did not change in length then over time bone density would decrease. Based on the same theory, experts now believe that simple stretching exercises can help you grow taller. This is because limb lengthening exercises predominantly aim to increase your height by applying physical stress on the limbs. Hence the body's natural response to stress is to beat the stress by growing taller. For the same reason, one of the most elementary exercises for increasing your height naturally is stretching. Before and after your workout, it is important that you stretch all your limbs. It helps relax the muscles along with providing the stimulus to the bones for growing taller.
Neck traction (Cervical traction): The history of the concept of neck
stretching is interesting. As mentioned above, some of the ancient tribes, for
example, the Padaung tribe of Burma considered a long neck beautiful. At
about age 5, girls were introduced to the first neck ring. As they grew, rings
were added. Their shoulders were pushed down, making the neck look longer. Also,
this showed off the family's valuable metal rings, indicating wealth. A fully
stretched neck was from 10-15" long. A woman simply could not drink from a cup,
because tipping her head back would overbalance her and she would fall!
Today, neck traction is a form of physical therapy that helps stop neck pain by
gently stretching the cervical spine. Cervical traction helps create space
between the vertebrae to keep the spinal discs healthy. Physicians, therapists
and chiropractors often use traction to relieve neck pain. It can also be
achieved through yoga poses, assisted stretching or with the help of a
chiropractor, physical therapist or massage therapist.
The professionals perform traction by using a mechanical device that gradually
opens up the spaces between cervical vertebrae. This will relieve pressure on
the spinal discs and lessen pain.
Neck traction can also be done manually by a therapist or chiropractor standing
behind the patient and gently pulling the patient's head.
