The King's Men
Originally a small vanguard of knights sent under the auspices of a distant King, the King's Men has long served as an unofficial arbiter of justice outside the typical organization of the Guard. Who runs the King's Men and even how many members are claimed by its service are common speculations among the nobles and commoners alike. A few members are known however, those who serve as headsmen and jailers, although these rarely leave the Duke's keep and even then, they are usually hooded or masked.
