=====__**Parthenon Horse List**__=====
__**The Parthenon Stables**__
This is a listing of the horses commonly available in the Parthenon's stables. Unless otherwise noted, the animals are owned by the Parthenon and are therefore available for any adventurer to borrow; losing or injuring that animal will cost the PC the price listed for that horse. If a PC purchases his or her own horse, stabling and basic care (food, water, grooming, saddling and shoeing) are available for 10 ss per month.
If you own an animal and wish to keep it in the Parthenon's stables, please let me know so that I can include it in the wiki and start charging you the 10 ss/month. Holy steeds and other unique companions still cost 10 ss/month for stabling, but the PC will be liable for any unusual care that the animal requires.
Stalls 1-12 are on the West wall of the inn's stable. Stalls 13-24 are on the East wall. They are arranged such that Stall 1 is directly across from Stall 13, Stall 12 is directly across from Stall 24, and so on for the stalls between. This is noteworthy only because spo~oOo~oky and predatory animals can't be kept next to or across from ordinary horses without stressing the animals.
1: (Empty)
2: Whisper - Spotted gray gelding. Calm-tempered, not easily frightened, average speed and stamina. Cannot support AEsirs or heavily armed/armored riders. May be ridden without the Riding skill. (250 ss)

Liante's wizard mark is carved into its back just behind the saddle and enchanted as a Mark (Enchantment 9) in the event that anyone else tries to use her zombie steed. The corpse is usually left in its stall as a corpse except when Liante comes by to take it out for a night on the town. The lack of corpse-scent on the embalmed body keeps the neighboring horses from panicking at it.
10: Poldor - Sturdy red roan stallion. Taller and stronger than most horses; originally bred as a draft animal rather than a warhorse. Low speed, average stamina. Can support AEsirs and heavily armed/armored riders. May be ridden without Riding skill. (300 ss)

15: Fiera - Red chestnut mare with a dark brown mane and tail. Old claw scars cut across her chest and shoulder. Past experience has left Fiera nervous and prone to balking at combat; fire sends her into outright panic. Average speed and stamina. Cannot support AEsirs or heavily armed/armored riders.
