Hobgoblin
Appearance: Hobgoblins stand six to seven feet tall and are heavily muscled, commonly weighing near four hundred pounds. Their skin carries a purplish or orange tint, and their hair ranges from the same color as their skin to black. Albino hobgoblins are extremely rare and considered god-touched, so often become shamans. Males are larger than females, but the females are fearsome combatants as well.
Known Customs: Hobgoblins are the most disciplined, intelligent and warlike of the glamodrim. They make fortresses of their homes and train ceaselessly for combat, both individually and in organized companies. Hobgoblins often carry badges and standards into battle, and are rabidly proud of their tribe's martial prowess. Bands of rival hobgoblins are likely to exchange insults and begin fighting among one another if not held back by strong leaders.
Goblins and orcs may live among hobgoblins as members of a lower caste or outright slaves, as the more powerful glamodrim bully them mercilessly. Small groups of hobgoblins may hire on as mercenaries for evil powers. Larger groups establish permanent fortresses from which they strike out at surrounding lands.
