Effects: Grummul carries a war axe with gnaw marks all along its wooden haft; he refers to this axe affectionately as "Teether" and claims to have cut his teeth on it when he was but a wee dwarfling. Though he rarely finds a foe worthy of being hit with Teether these days, he continues to lug the axe around for sentimental value. He wears yellow-green armor that appears to have been made from the carapace of some giant insect, carries a second war axe with a blade of red iron, and is never without his trusty "helm," i.e., a greasy leather cap with nails studded all over to make it look more fearsome.
Character Background: The Orcbiter clan is a numerous (by dwarven standards) but not particularly prominent warrior clan with branches in most of the major dwarven strongholds around Western Meditra; Grummul hails from the Irontooths line. He seldom speaks of the reason for his departure, but odds are it had something to do with a drunken brawl. Most of the important things, and virtually all the major misadventures, in Grummul's life started out that way.
Presently Grummul lives in a run-down shack on the city's south side. For some time he shared his dwelling with a foul-tempered, garbage-eating giant rat, but the rat died mysteriously a few months after moving in with the dwarf, and he never recovered enough to adopt a new pet.
In his spare time (which is most of it), Grummul can be found at the Orcs' Nest Tavern, drinking or fighting or getting ready to do at least one of the above. He often brags about his heroic ventures and amazing feats at the Parthenon, but the only accomplishment of his that anyone has ever been able to verify is that Grummul once managed to drink Nhrin del'Raithe under the table.
