Ghast

Appearance: Ghasts are inhuman creatures who have been made monstrous by their transformation into undeath. Their skin is gray, their ears sharpened to points. Some are rotting where they stand, with skin sloughing off their bones; others appear superficially intact, only to release gouts of decaying, liquified innards and putrefaction gases when wounded. Ghasts' mouths are filled with sharp yellow teeth, and their fingers and toes have become curled, vicious talons. An overpowering stench surrounds them.
Known Behaviors: Ghasts are vicious and relentless attackers. They are often found in the company of ghouls, acting as leaders for the lesser undead.
Known Range: Any. A ghast's overwhelming carrion stink makes it impossible for the creature to pass unnoticed in any but the most loathsome environments -- charnel houses, overflowing morgues, and slaughterhouse districts are the only civilized areas where a ghast might be able to hide. Ghasts can arise anywhere, but those which cannot hide or flee to desolate areas are swiftly destroyed.
