Fire Giant

Appearance: Fire giants stand twelve to fourteen feet tall and have ruddy, coppery-colored skin. Their hair ranges from bright yellow to smoldering red, and the males often adorn their thick beards with brass or iron rings. Their garb is crafted of extraordinarily fine chain-links and the hides of strange, exotic creatures native to their fiery realms. Fire giants are great lovers of jewelry, and their craftsmanship is far more delicate than one might expect of such huge beings. They are particularly noted for their work in gold and fire-colored jewels.
Known Customs: Since few environments can support large populations of fire giants, they tend to live in small families of four to fifty individuals centered around volcanoes, hot springs, and other areas that offer enough warmth to keep them comfortable. Many fire giants tunnel deep into the earth to reach its molten core; entire volcanoes have been hollowed out into fire-giant fortresses. They are violent and hot-tempered, but direct their furies at outsiders more often than each other.
Known Range: The Cathilcarn Mountains are known to host at least a few clans of fire giants.
