//Lord of Eaglemount, King of the Mountain Hall//

Eoshdorr's religion is restricted to the AEsir of the snowy northlands, with very few disciples outside his people's lands. He is a just but unsophisticated god, often represented as a white-bearded thain ruling over a warriors' meadhall. The bald eagle—a strong and wise bird, imposing despite its white-crowned head—is the primary symbol of Eoshdorr.

His is an uncomplicated religion based on a highly individualistic moral code. Worshipers of Eoshdorr respect battle prowess and honor in the most straightforward sense. It is considered shameful to attack from ambush or fight someone too weak to defend himself (this extends to include most of those who are not AEsir). Tests of strength are commonly used to determine who is right in any argument where the opponents are of equal standing; those who are weaker are pitied and protected, but they do not command any respect.

By the code of Eoshdorr, sporadic raiding is permissible, but excessive looting or settled invasion is not: skirmishes are allowed as tests of strength, with due reward to the victors, but the winners are expected not to grind down too hard on the losers. Warriors who die honorably are believed to have places reserved in the Great Hall upon Eaglemount. Although Eoshdorr has dedicated priests, these are usually taken from the ranks of those who are too old to serve him as paladins or warriors anymore.
