The Empty Bottle Tavern

Easily spotted from King’s Gate, the Empty Bottle tavern welcomes all visitors, providing lodging, spirits, and entertainment to the multitude of travelers and denizens of the Coeur d'Ennui. The two story building is constructed primarily of fieldstone and timbers harvested from the local countryside. Hanging from the exterior is a large wooden sign; the name of the establishment embossed across its surface and beside the name the logo of the Empty Bottle tavern, a picture of an inverted bottle giving forth its final drop.

Directly across from the entrance, the tavern sports a seventy five foot, hand crafted, rose-wood bar. The bar is lined by leather stools of various heights. The taller having a fold out step for the customers of lesser statute to use to help themselves up onto the chair. Along the western wall is a large thrust stage, providing great intimacy between the audience and performers. Surrounding the dining area are a variety of gaming tables for those who enjoy playing a game of chance for small stakes.
