Eltanir Teglessin is a rarity among the Celestians: an Illuminer who is as martial as any Heliae, if not moreso. The priest has made it his life's work to study and combat fiends. Over the past twenty years he has developed several enchanted items and unique prayers to aid in his temple's unceasing battles against them. He is renowned across Meditra as an expert in the field.
Most recently Eltanir had been traveling through northern Aridoc and western Ardashir, where he had gone to pursue rumors that an adventuring group had broken into the sealed tower of Mesandroth Fiendlorn and retrieved many of that necromancer's lost writings. If true, those documents would have been a great boon to his studies -- and a great danger to the world, should they fall into the wrong hands.
As yet he has not returned, and it remains unknown whether he found what he sought. It has been nearly two years since Eltanir left Coeur d'Ennui.
