When the stones of the earth erupt from the ground and fire blooms in the air, something has garnered the wrath of an Elementalist. Elementalists are wizards who have mastered the volatile and destructive powers of the natural elements. They often serve in the military as battle-mages, causing windstorms to tear through enemy supply lines or fire to rain down upon their armies. Controlling the elements of creation requires a dedicated mind and strong will, a mistake on this road can destroy an apprentice or make an experienced wizard go power mad.
It is easy to imagine why an Elementalist might take up the path of adventurer. Secrets of power are hidden throughout the world. Terrible fiends and fierce beasts guard those secrets, and elementalists have the power to bring them low. Most elementalists adventure for the sake of power, others seek to use their power for noble causes, and a few merely want a chance to destroy things.
The Elementalist is as adept with magic as the other schools; however, his focus is upon the four primary elements: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. Their spells excel at smiting their opponents -- often in mass. They have few spells that assist them in any other way except destruction and protection.
