**Gender:** Female
**Height:** 5’6”
**Weight:** 145 lbs
**Eyes:** Emerald Green

She wears black boots that lace up to her knees. Her skirts are always mid thigh length, and her halter top leaves nothing to the imagination.
**Weapons:** She has a katana at her side at all times. She uses a Recurved bow roughly fashioned from a light green chitin, with bits of Ankheg mandible used to make a hand-raiser.
**Background:**
Cyn’s story starts many years before her birth. Her mother, Ashta, went to a priestess of Phaera where she requested guidance. She wished to know about her future and what route she should take in life. The priestess did as asked and her results shocked Ashta. She was told that one day she would have a child that would betray her. This child’s soul is as black as its coat and its heart is as hard as stone. The child would be the destruction of this city and all its inhabitants.
For years Ashta remained silent about what the priestess had told her. Eventually it seemed as though she had forgotten all together. She married and eventually did give birth do a litter of kittens. The moment she did, Guards came in to take a look at the kittens. They inspected each one as if they were looking for something. They spotted the runt of the litter. A small black cat, whose eyes were a piercing green. They immediately picked the kitten up and took her away from her mother. The father was furious and demanded to know where the kitten was being taken, but they never did inform him. The kitten was taken to the temple and placed in a room to await divinations. The kitten was seen by the priestess Nala. She was a young priestess, she looked almost too young to have the abilities she had, but she was capable of the task at hand. Upon seeing the poor kitten shivering she decided that such an innocent creature could hardly be the result of such terrible acts in the future. She went to her superiors and told them that this kitten was not the one they were after. That she should be given back to her mother with our blessing.
So Cyn was given back to her family and raised as the mother saw fit. When Cyn was about 10 years of age her family started to notice things. Cyn had a tendency to hunt more than she needed to. She would hunt just to hunt, not to eat. She would torture her food before she devoured it. She found that she liked sharp objects, and learned how to fire an arrow at a young age. She bullied the others in the litter, even though she was smaller than them all. It was when she drew blood from her older brother that her mother finally decided to speak to someone about her. Her mother didn’t know, but Cyn was following her at the time. Cyn overheard her mother and the priestess discuss her actions. The conversation just got worse from there. The priestess was telling Ashta to turn over Cyn to the church so she may be properly dealt with. Cyn didn’t stick around long enough to hear the end of the conversation. She ran home and packed a few things before leaving the village. She decided to live on her own, to find her own way in life. She headed north.
On her travels, unbeknownst to her, a fierce battle was taking place. She, not knowing all that much about the woods farther than a mile from her home, stumbled across the battle. Proud warriors were slaughtering people left and right. Fierce sword combat could be heard over the screams of the dying. She watched with fascination, attempting to stay hidden and out of everyone’s way. Once the battle was over, and the eerie calm settled, a warrior turned towards the direction Cyn was hiding in. Cyn didn’t have much time to think as the warrior rushed towards her. She leaped as high as she could into the tree, followed by the warrior. She dodged as best she could, all the while keeping the warrior within sight of her. She made it apparent that she wasn’t going to run, but that she also wasn’t about to let the warrior get anywhere near her. It took some time before the warrior eventually caught Cyn off guard and he was able to slice into her left arm. This caused Cyn to get angry at which point she turned and engaged the warrior. She didn’t have much for weapons, but what she did have was her natural nails and the speed of a cat. She caught the warrior off guard. She took the opportunity to relieve the warrior of his sword. She never really held a sword before, but she reacted on instinct. She plunged the sword into the warrior’s left shoulder, pinning him to the tree they were in. At that point a slew of arrows pelted her and she fell out of the tree. With all the damaged that had been done to her she still attempted to get up. A finely dressed man, whom Cyn could only assume to be a general, walked over to her as the archers were preparing to shoot again. The man’s name was Rayos. He saw something in Cyn. She had determination, vengeance, and a blood lust that he has rarely seen in such a young girl. He offered her a chance to save her life. She could join them or she would die. It didn’t take much convincing for Cyn to make her decision. She joined Rayos and was initiated into their order within three months time. She was taught the ways of Baoz and came to worship him as a follower. She found that she was better at scouting and traps than handling a sword. She was an odd one, but she was still useful.
Eventually she told Rayos about her village and what they wanted to do to her. He laughed and proceeded to plan with her the destruction of her village. If they were going to claim that she was going to destroy it, why not remove her past? Within two months time they marched on the village. The inhabitants didn’t have a chance. She took it upon herself to personally annihilate her family. She took pleasure in watching them die. Once the task was completed she watched the village burn to the ground. She showed no remorse.
At the age of 21 Cyn was given a task to prove herself among others and was sent to the Coeur d'Ennui. She was to prove she was a follower and that she could survive of her own accord. She must prove her strength in order to return.
