Revision [4631]

I use wards, as part of a personal preference and because of IC justifications for safety for Crossus and others. These wards cover the common room, kitchen, stasis chamber and rooms upstairs. Their effect is as follows: Spells dealing damage or having a negative effect(debuff) on their target are redirected at their caster, who is allowed a save. Effect spells used on an unwilling target will fail to function. Spells with an AoE(i.e. Deluge/Hellfire) are shrunk to effect just the caster. These wards are applicable to attempting to cast a spell into or out of the combat rings as well.
Magical Potions require activation, mundanes do not. Mundane potions that heal a BC amount of damage are crittable.
Saves on spells halve total damage, regardless if there are modifiers to the BC. This halved damage is rounded up.
Spells with an additional effect(Stun/Ignition/Acid Burn) do not have a chance for the additional effect if the target has a shield that protects against the applicable type of damage.
