Cosmology

These are the planes that constitute the world of Parthos.

The Ether

The massless medium, in which all things are suspended. Every point of the Tumult is separated from the Ether only by a thin membrane. The Ether is even rapider and more violent than the Tumult. The Ether courses with primordial energy, and will rip apart any corporeal beings which enter unprotected. Incorporeal life, however, thrives here.

The Vale of Stars
The realm of angels. A vast, lush valley, most non-evil gods and demi-gods choose to live here.
- Amalthir, the Highest City
  The holy city which overlooks the Vale.
The Abyss
- Pandemonium
  The devils' stronghold at the heart of the abyss. It is built around Ungoriadh, the boiling lake. There dwells the Leviathan, who rules over Pandemonium.
Feindorn
The native realm of the soul.
- The Palace of the End
  Luorre's realm.
- The Exultation
  Zhardis's realm.
The City of Edges
Bordering all, a part of none.
Bierilon, the Tumult
The plane of matter.
- Hadraith, the Hearth
  The plane of fire.
- Ilthelas, the Upper Air
  The plane of air.
- Mithlondir, the Lightless Citadel
  The plane of earth.
- Uan, the Great Sea
  The plane of water.
- Ombrathond
  The shadow realm.
