The Confederacy of the Gray
The Confederacy is a collection of twenty sovereign gray elf cities and towns found in the valleys and at the feet of the mountains to the North and West of the Delverness. They maintain trade and share military protection with each other. Despite their independence, they maintain strong loyalty to the elven Matriarch and will rise to defend the Delverness as brothers and sisters when the elven nation is threatened.When it comes to other nations and races, the leaders of the Confederacy take an isolationist view more often than not. Their mountain and valley home are well defended with enchantments and illusions, so trade is rare except with the dwarves and AEsirs that live under and on the mountains near them. When war comes to human lands, they view it as they do the rise and fall of the tide, given that some of their leaders are older than some human nations. They have chosen to not aid in the situation in Adenhault or overtly interfere with the plans of Ang'arta.
