The walk to the Collegium is peaceful, those citizens who are awake have either left for the field or the market. Rare are those who walk the streets under the shadow of the wizard's towers. Those who can be found on the streets are couriers, servants, and other employed sorts. The arcane quarter is largely taken by the many towers of the Collegium, but there are also many residential lots--homes for wizards and their families--and the occasional tavern and inn. Unsurprisingly, base crime is infrequent in the arcane quarter, with the exception of the occasional fool every few months.
The Collegium itself is a complex of four towers surrounded by a sturdy stone wall. Between them lies several gardens, bisected by paths running from the North to the South and East to the West. The main street leads through a gatehouse, guarded by city arms men. The path leads to a large, wooden building which serves as a general meeting hall. The large, double doors in its face are guarded a pair of stone lions, both of which give passers-by the impression of being watched as they walk towards the open double doors, though it is obvious that they have not and are incapable of moving.
