Distinguishable Marks: A tattoo of an all seeing eye on her left palm. The iris of the eye is a slightly raised, circular brand that was enchanted by Liante. Other than that there are no other distinguishing marks that can be seen.
Occupation: Apprentice
Residence: Brielle lives in a quaint little cottage on Podge Street. The outward appearance has walls painted an olive green color. There is a single window in the front, with black curtains inhibiting the view on the inside. The door is an intricatly carved door made of a deep cherry wood. An eye is carved in the direct center of the door with what seems to be a ruby as its iris. She keeps her residence primarilly unknown except to a few certain people within the Parthenon and her underworld contacts. She prefers the seclusion than the interuptions that guests tend to bring.
Effects: Brielle is not really seen with much. Her hair is always adorned with throwing daggers, and she always wears at least 2 rings. She dresses oddly for a mercenary. She wears dresses that hit the floor, in various colors and styles.
Weapons: Does not carry many weapons on her. Typically she can be seen with throwing daggers adorned in her hair. A dagger is carried typically in the folds of her skirts.
Background:
Brielle is believed to have been conceived through a violent exchange between her mother and the avatar of Balor of the Evil Eye. The "avatar of Balor" raped the woman for sport, before returning to his more pressing tasks. Brielle's mother died during childbirth. Some believe Balor killed her himself, others believe Brielle did. She was raised by the blind man of the village. His name was Baku. Throughout her childhood she was always a couple sandwiches short of a picnic. She was raised to know who her father was and what had happened to her mother. With the way everyone always looked at her and called her names, she began to turn to books. She started to study as much as she could about Balor, because he was still "technically" alive. As she grew she became quite smart, though she still didn't have those sandwiches. There came a turning point in her life. At the age of 14 Brielle was as beautiful as an albino half-elf could get. Baku, taking it upon himself, decided to teach her the "true nature of men" and thus raped her. Through the entire ordeal she struggled and finally got a hold of a lantern that was by the bed. She knocked Baku unconscious with the lamp. She then proceeded to acquiring his cane and continually beat the man to death. There was blood everywhere, and she was soaked in it. She didn't know what to do so she packed her things, grabbed her robe, and ran out into the night. She ran until she couldn't run anymore and thus made camp. Through her journey, what little semblance of trust she did have, left her.
She eventually found her way to a priest of Balor, in the village of Runetol. She told him that she wanted to become a devote follower. She was, of course, tested and found to be capable of becoming a great seer, if properly trained. And so her training began. She trained up until the age of 16, where she was sent on her final test. She was to find a way to destroy two cities, Shesau and Fireton. She took her task to heart and set out for each city. It took some time to study each city. She spent years going between each city trying to spread a seed of hate between both sets of royals. She had disrupted traders from each city, and carefully placed evidence that the other was behind the attack. Eventually the cities went to war. Brielle thought that she had done her job well, but after a year of fighting, the two cities decided to make peace. This was not part of Brielle's plan. She used every resource she had with each city to arrange for the kidnapping of the Prince of Shesau and the Princess of Fireton. Both were brought to her. Upon each of their arrival, she ordered that they be tortured until they had died. She took, from the princess, a holy symbol of Scathach as a trophy. She then planted both the bodies in the woods near each of their homes. She made sure that there was evidence to make each believe the other had done such an act of brutality. The peace treaty was never signed, and thus both cities went back to war. With trade routes blocked, and war still at hand, it was only a matter of time before both cities were nothing.
Brielle, with her task complete, went back to her teacher, Vonki. Upon arrival she was taken directly to the dungeon where she was thoroughly beaten to within an inch of her life. She was then left there, for what seemed like eternity. Eventually her teacher came to her and asked her why she was in such a condition. She had no idea and thus conveyed this to him, though it was quite hard. He laughed and told her she was being punished for calling Tempus with her stunt. He then left her to think about her horrid mistake. She hung there in the dungeon for 3 days time, where she was given food and water, though not much. After 3 days time, she was taken from the dungeon and cleaned up. She was then brought before her teacher, where she was congratulated upon her completing her task, and thus was made to become a disciple. After this, she left. She didn't want anything more to do with the city, or her supposed father. She traveled for days, trying to find a way for herself. One night, while she slept, she had a dream. This dream showed her power beyond what she could have wanted. It even showed her a path to take. When she woke, she knew what she had to do, she had to hone her abilities, and the Coeur d'Ennui was the place she was sent. Once honed her hunt is to begin. The hunt for this same teacher, her teacher, to kill him so she can take her first steps towards enlightenment.
