//Lord of the Unjeweled Crown, Breeder of Violence, the Iron-Fisted//
In the view of Baoz's worshipers, strength is the only thing worthy of respect. They glory in war as the ultimate test of strength—the bloodier, the better. The weak will be crushed in battle, and the strong will prevail. Fighting and killing in the god's name are considered forms of prayer, and no mercy is shown to the defeated, who have proven themselves unworthy to live by their weakness.
Baoz commands more armed warriors than any of the other evil deities. He has a respectable number of priests, but it is the paladins who rule in his fortresses. There are five major orders of Baozites, each with its own heavily fortified citadel supported by a subject town. When they are not fighting against an outside enemy, the paladins of the five orders spend their time warring against one another. This winnows out the weaklings who are unworthy to serve the god and hones the skills of their betters, so Baoz encourages their constant infighting by rewarding the victors with signs of his favor. Similarly, advancement within the orders is most commonly done simply by removing those ranked higher.
For the most part, Baoz's worshipers stay in their fortresses when they are not on campaign. He does not maintain a significant presence in cities (except when his armies are marching through with fire and sword), but sometimes individual worshipers are sent out into the world to test themselves -- and show outsiders the strength of the Iron Fist.
**Alignment:** Chaotic Evil
**Colors:** Iron, red, and gold
**Spheres:** [[LustSphere Lust]], [[SavagerySphere Savagery]]
**Symbols:** An iron crown with five gaps where its jewels are missing
