**Background**: Born in some small river village, the son of an elf and a passing hero of some minor note. Raised on tales of the man's bravery in his efforts toward ridding the world of the scourge of necromancy and the undead, he naturally came to idolize his father, and became determined to follow in his footsteps. When he came of age, Anduin was presented with an old sword which had belonged to some distant relative with a history in seamanship. Once he had restored the blade to a proper, workable state, he made his way out to see the world, and perhaps even meet his father someday.

At the other hip resides a simple whip, carefully tended to, but clearly having seen little use. Worn on his back, carefully arranged along with a heavy silver shield, is a carefully oiled arbalest, of noticeably higher than average quality.
