A recent immigrant from V'tavia, Alger brings with him customs and dress that clearly mark him as a foreigner, both of V'tavia and the Couer. A hair dresser and make-up artist by trade, he has found work in a number of the larger noble houses of the Couer and, by all accounts, his fashions and styles have endeared him a small coterie of satisfied customers. He often travels by carriage and in the presence of a hired and silent man servant. He is known for his large wardrobe, a collection of monochromatic robes, sarongs and shifts of many colors and exotic dyes.
