Akash “Fate’s Favored” Ri’nienor is a relatively recent arrival to the Coeur, bound from the furthest reaches of Aridoc. Regarded as a cold-hearted individual of great inherited wealth, the paladin’s presence in the city is thought to be a consequence of personal interests rather than any religious work. Usually curt and dismissive of new faces, he bears a well-known appreciation for powerful and unique blades.
The Zhardian likely stays in the Swan’s Rest Inn, where secretive personas are not unheard of and the paladin has been seen leaving on numerous occasions. His appearance, comparable to the classical debonair knight, is sinewy but lean and flattering under even the harshest light. Given his less-than-secret faith, it is unknown how old the human truly is; estimates offered by private records put the number between ninety and one-hundred years.
Recently, the paladin has been rumored to come into the possession of Maghredan's Tear, a legendary weapon once believed lost to time. Forged by the devil-god's original occultists, the greatsword is said to possess magic runes along its blade that prophesize Maghredan's first- and second-comings. It is unclear how Akash came across said weapon, but a number of the city's more boastful thieves are claiming personal responsibility for its discovery and retrieval.
